T.I.P. Scholarships
The Talent Identification Program (T.I.P.) was designed to offer to promising young athletes the opportunity to explore track and field through our Youth Program. These Scholarships are handed out at elementary school X-Country meets in the Fall and at Track and Field meets in the Spring time. Over the past 5 years hundreds of athletes have taken advantage of this opportunity.
Talent Identification Scholarships winners are eligible to take part in our Youth programs. Children are entitled to 2 free weeks in one of these programs. They can attend once or twice a week over the two week period. If children wish to continue in the program they can do so at the reduced price of $120 for once a week and $220 twice a week.
T.I.P. Limitations
Athletes who have benefited from a previous TIP scholarship or an EOESXC Championships scholarship are not eligible for a T.I.P. scholarship.
Athletes who have previously been in a Ottawa Lions Track and Field Youth program can benefit from the Scholarship, but must register for a complete 8 week session and pay for the course at the lower registration fees ($120/$220).
Talent Identification Scholarships cannot be applied to Summer Camps.

Eastern Ontario Elementary Schools X-C Championship Meet Youth Scholarships
The top ten finishers at the Eastern Ontario Elementary Schools X-Country Championship Meet have earned a scholarship to one of our Youth Programs.
Basic Information:
This scholarship covers registration for a complete 6-8 week session in one of our programs. Athletes can come once or twice a week and benefit from the program and the instruction from our counselors. The scholarship can also be applied for a week in one of our summer camps.

Limitations
Athletes who have benefited from a TIP scholarship or a previous Eastern Ontario Elementary Schools X-Country Championship scholarship are not eligible for a Scholarship.
Also, athletes who have participated in the Ottawa Lions Youth Program are not eligible to receive an Eastern Ontario Elementary Schools X-Country Championship Scholarship. However, they are eligible to receive a free trip (transportation and entry fees) to the Corsaire Chaparal Indoor meet on February 5th, 2013
