- A passion for the Ottawa Lions’ mission, vision and values
- Knowledge of and experience with the world of sports or not-for-profit governance
- A desire to give back to the Ottawa Lions
What Sub-Committees can you get involved in?
The Ottawa Lions is currently seeking members for its Governance Committee, Fundraising & Partnership Committee, and Alumni Committee.
How can you contribute as a Sub-Committee Member?
- Influence and develop policy related to the operations of the Ottawa Lions
- Participate in and coordinate fundraising initiatives
- Develop marketing strategies
- Build community relationships
- Take part in strategic planning
What is expected:
- Attend at least one (1) meeting per month (currently being held virtually on Zoom)
- Be responsive to emails and Club-related correspondence
- Come to meetings prepared and ready to participate in discussions
