The Ottawa Lions Track & Field Club is committed to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to participate in sport.
For families who need support, the following financial assistance programs are available through trusted organizations.

KidSport Canada – Ontario
KidSport™ is a national not-for-profit organization that provides financial assistance to kids who want to play sports.

Canadian Tire Jumpstart Program
Jumpstart helps kids across Canada overcome financial barriers to participation in sport and recreation.
- Applications typically open January 15 – November 1 (may vary by Chapter).
- Funding is distributed across Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter activities.
- Support focuses on maximizing the cost and length of participation per activity per child.

Tips for Families
- Apply early so funds are confirmed before the season starts.
